C-Town & Down Show: Wednesday April 8th Preview and April 1st Recap

Last week, Cleveland Sports Zone Founder Bob Evans officially joined the C-Town & Down Show on No Static Radio as a co-host. Teaming up with Dave Jack in the April 1st episode above, the show covered a wide variety of topics–including the ever popular holiday for Browns fans, the 2015 NFL Draft.

For those of you who missed out on the show, feel free to give it a listen above. The duo tackled the recent announcement of the Cleveland State Vikings wrestling cut, and gave some NCAA Final Four and Championship predictions before heading into the hometown professional sports teams.

Picking up where they left off in the previous week, Evans and Jack continued discussing the first-round of the 2015 NFL Draft and potential options for the Cleveland Browns at Nos. 12 and 19. They also discussed second-round options, which focused on wide receivers, linebackers and defensive linemen.

Every week, the C-Town & Down Show will strive to bring you a featured guest to talk about one or two of the Cleveland sports teams as well. Last week’s guest was a great one–though admittedly we had some technical difficulty issues. However, Tim Miller from Dawgs by Nature (featured Browns blog on SB Nation) worked through it with the guys to give his excellent takes on defensive line prospects and where Browns fans can expect to see the team take one in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Looking ahead to the April 8th show from 7-9 p.m. on No Static Radio, the guys have two special guests lined up for the listeners. First off, Evans and Jack will be joined by No Static Radio co-owner, Jason Snider, live in studio to provide his expertise on the NFL Draft and all things Cleveland sports.

The trio will be hosting the official No Static Radio 2015 NFL Draft Show on April 30th live from Scoreboards Sports Bar & Grill in Northfield, Ohio–so this is a good opportunity to get a preview of what you will have the pleasure of listening to from 8 p.m. until the end of the first round at the end of the month.

No Static Radio will also have a pre-draft show on that day beginning at 6 p.m., where Cover 3, Psyched & Mic’d Show and The Total Package will get you all warmed up for the main festivities with their wealth of knowledge and excellent takes.

Also, we cannot forget about Justin Lada from the News Herald and Wahoo’s on First, who will be joining the crew on Wednesday night talking Cleveland Indians at 7:40 p.m. That’s right Cleveland fans, Wednesday night’s show will not be all Browns and draft talk. In fact, the show will be talking Cavs playoffs and the Indians first three games of the season and looking at the home opener before getting to the Browns talk. So make sure you tune in right at 7 p.m., because you aren’t going to want to miss who the guys hope the Cavs play in the first round of the playoffs and Evans’ surprise pick to be key in the first round for LeBron James and company.
